Who is Fatma Sevildi?

She graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, Department of Fashion Design.

Since 2010, she has been adapting fashion to modest wear through her original evening and wedding dress designs.
AWARD WINNING DESIGNER
Finalist of the 2011 international dress design competition StyleIn, held in the United Kingdom.
Fatma Sevildi graduated at the top of her class from Kalaba Anatolian Girls’ Vocational High School, specializing in Textile Design. She went on to complete her higher education at Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, Department of Fashion Design Teaching. During her university years, she also attended the Styling Department of the prestigious Ankara Olgunlaşma Institute.
After working on freelance design projects for a significant period following her graduation, she established her own fashion house in 2010. Just a year later, she gained international recognition by becoming a finalist in the StyleIn 2011 international dress design competition in the UK. Her uniquely themed design, titled “New Ottoman,” was selected from among 2,340 entries by a jury panel that included world-renowned designers such as Rabia Z and Adnan Khalid.
With a lifelong passion for fashion and sewing, Fatma Sevildi transformed her childhood interest into a professional career. She continues to design bespoke evening and wedding dresses at her atelier, where she works individually and passionately.
She is married and the mother of two.
